Torchy’s tacos!!! I’m obsessed with this place.

A variation of this pasta recipe. Made with organic vegetable pasta from Wheatsville Co-op.

My friend Megan and I baked a tosca cake (swedish almond cake) and watched Pride and Prejudice on a Wednesday night. I love summer and girls nights in.
On Monday I had lunch with my dad at North. We ate delicious Italian food and chatted mostly about his work and my internship. He treated me to lunch and I treated him to Starbucks after. I love dates with my daddy!

Day 07: A photo that makes you happy.

Em and I got snow cones yesterday. Eventually we moved to sit on the ledge of a pawn shop’s store front and talked and people-watched. I love parking lots, and snow cones, and Emily.
Yuri and I are starting tumblr’s 30 day challenge Monday. Wish us luck and keep us accountable faithful followers!

This is us at Frosted in April. We’re rocking ray bans and eating ice cream cupcakes. I love this girl. We are kindred spirits.

Mint chocolate chip ice cream inside. Delish.
My 3rd blog entry for today. It’s just one of those days.
PS: I finally got around to downloading pictures off of my digital camera. I’ll be reliving New York in a futre blog entry.

Yesterday my friend Betho and I made the meatiest spaghetti sauce I have had in a long time. Everyone close to me knows that I love spaghetti and can eat it multiple times a week and enjoy it every time. In fact, tonight I’m planning on cooking spaghetti with another friend.

you are cordially invited to be courageous and vulnerable.
I would love to get something like this in my mail. See other invitations here.
Speaking of mail, after I finish this blog entry, I’m mailing a letter to my pen pal.
A few random thoughts on a Monday afternoon:

Success!

Not so much.
Happy Monday! I leave you with a verse from Philippians:
For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.
amazing!

Guess who went off campus today? YOURS TRULY.
For my design class we took a field trip to Color Graphics. Afterwards Yuri, Lilli, and I went to the infamous Urth Caffe. Good company and good food = two thumbs way up. Pictured is my buttery croissant with blackberry jam and brie.

Someone get me to Seattle, NOW! Pictured is hot chocolate with cherry flavored whipped cream (and it’s in a well-designed cup).
This would make up for the disappointing soy latte I got today at shop cafe.
Starbucks’s dark cherry mocha will satisfy my cherry cravings until I get myself to seattle.
Have a good weekend all.

Scones ready to go in the oven!
I just finished baking some cranberry-chocolate scones for my friend’s birthday. The apartment smells delicious. I modified this recipe.
I want to eventually try this blueberry-coconut scones recipe. I have so many recipes bookmarked! If I don’t get around to the blueberry-coconut scones, I plan to make some hummus and black bean burgers
(This is not a picture of the batch I just made. It’s an old picture from when I baked for church several weeks back. Yes, I make these scones a lot.)
