Craving live music.
Author: Helen | Filed under: Music | No Comments »I recently stumbled upon this song. I listened to them a lot in high school (I even did a dance solo to their song Seaside senior year).
Another song I listened to a lot in high school (Yuri recently emailed it to me):
The City Lights by Umbrellas

It’s Friday!
Stars has a new album coming out? I discovered this through facebook ads.
Have a good weekend all!

Moon River, wider than a mile,
I’m crossing you in style some day.
Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker,
wherever you’re going I’m going your way.
Two drifters off to see the world.
There’s such a lot of world to see.
We’re after the same rainbow’s end–
waiting ’round the bend,
my huckleberry friend,
Moon River and me.

I saw Andrew Bird tonight at Bovard with my friend Ariel.
In an effort to get over my dislike for the pen tool in illustrator, I am forcing myself to use it everyday. Today I made a quick little image in honor of Andrew Bird’s performance. He is great live, a true one-man band and a hell of a whistler and violinist. His songs are all very similar (at least to me they are…) and therefore made me sleepy.
After the concert I went for a night run and danced on the third story of a parking lot. I made holes in my socks from dancing.
